The Cancer message this season is powerful and refers to there having been a sudden shift. Something has changed quickly, and there may not be a clear sense of who we are in the aftermath.
The base reading showed no major arcana, yet they appeared throughout as clarifiers. This suggests something bigger is at play, a trajectory unfolding beyond what we consciously recognise. What we are experiencing personally is part of a much larger movement.
Mars is retrograde in Cancer, and the Sun moving through Pisces highlights a ninth house transit. Meaning, belief, and identity are shifting. The Saturn presence in Pisces trining Cancer reinforces this, adding weight to the transformation. From a personal place, I just could not stop talking in your reading, in a way that I didn’t in the other readings I had done all day or all season.
The Tree Angel oracle brought the energy of Juniper, a reminder of duty and devotion. Who or what are we committed to now? What once felt certain may no longer hold.
Juniper oracle:
“Stride forward or hold firm.
Give what life asks of you.
Enter the balance
Between destiny and freedom.
Release what doesn’t serve you,
Yet stand in the gale and walk your truth.
Duty gives way to devotion.”
‘Into the Lonely Woods’ gave the message ‘When All Seems Ended’. A chapter has closed, but that does not mean everything is over. It means we are in the space between, where the old self has gone, and the new self is not yet formed.
Change has already happened. Now we must allow ourselves to become what we are next. I get this feeling that this is a version we have known before but it had a different meaning then.
This space between selves is not just a momentary shift, it is part of something much deeper. Pluto in Aquarius moves through Cancer’s eighth house, reshaping how we engage with power, trust, and shared resources. What once defined us in relationships and commitments is no longer fixed. More on this in the Pluto quest below.
